Dismasting of the IMOCA Fortinet – Best Western

At 3:30 a.m. on Friday, September 13, the IMOCA Fortinet-Best Western dismasted while in thirteenth place in the 48h Défi Azimut race. Led by skipper Romain Attanasio, the boat was approaching the « Hervé Laurent » waypoint.

On board, the skipper accompanied by Adrien Bernard (Boat Captain) and Richard Mardens (OBR) are doing well. Together with race management and the shore crew, they are doing everything they can to secure the IMOCA Fortinet – Best Western and bring it back to Lorient.
