LAUNCH OF IMOCA FORTINET – BEST WESTERN

The IMOCA Fortinet – Best Western has come to the end of her refit, and was relaunched yesterday after four months of work, checks and optimizations.

The launch is always a special moment, with many delicate maneuvers: installing the foils, lifting the boat, fitting the keel, launching and masting. Fortunately, everything went off without a hitch thanks to my crack team. What’s more, the sun was out in full force!

Today marks the start of the sporting season, and it’s like back-to-school time… We can’t wait to get this boat out on the water and stretch her foils! Just a little more patience, as the first sail should take place in a week’s time, giving the team time to refit the boat.
