THREE YEARS AGO, I COMPLETED MY SECOND VENDÉE GLOBE

Three years ago today, on February 6, 2021, I crossed the finish line of the Vendée Globe 2020.

After 90 days, 2 hours and 46 minutes at sea, and a lot of troubles, I complete my second round-the-world race. The emotions you feel at that moment are indescribable. Right up to the last moment, you grit your teeth, pray that nothing will happen to the boat and then… deliverance. It’s a crazy thing to say to yourself, we’ve done it.

I say “we” because I’m obviously thinking of my team, but also of all the partners who are following me. Thank you to those who were there and are still there today: Best Western France, La Blottière, Volvo Rennes, MELTONIC, ICI, Abyss Ingredients, Proxam, ROUCHETTE, SANDRA PELLEN, SCIDIAM, ELEC EAU, Franck LABBAY, Maisons Te-Ho Rennes, 35°Nord, Helly Hansen et JULBO. Thank you for embarking on this crazy adventure and for continuing to follow me.
