Victory in the Vendée Liberty!

Yesterday saw the Vendée Liberty, a confrontation between IMOCA boats on speed runs at the foot of the Statue of Liberty. It was a warm-up for the start of the New York – Vendée race on Wednesday. And it was the Fortinet – Best Western team that set the fastest time!

A fine victory to round off our stay in New York, meeting the customers of my partner Fortinet. This victory was partly theirs, since after four days sailing in the bay with them, I knew the water like the back of my hand!
