NIGHT ARRIVAL IN NEW YORK

After 13 days of convoying, numerous frontal passages and a beautiful storm on the last night, the IMOCA Fortinet – Best Western arrived in New York!

A night-time arrival, in front of the Manhattan skyline, so the spectacle was grandiose!

The crossing wasn’t all plain sailing, with weather conditions at times rough, but in the end, only the sailors were tested. As for the boat, it’s spotless, with no breakages to report! A big thank you to all my team, this is the result of all their hard work during the winter refit.

Next steps: washing and tidying the boat, before welcoming the Fortinet teams from May 19 to 22!
