NUIT STUDIEUSE

Cette première nuit de course a été sportive et studieuse avec Greg à bord de Fortinet Best Western. Heureusement le vent et la mer se sont calmées en milieu de nuit, nous permettant de passer sous J2. On poursuit notre route vers la pointe de la Cornouaille anglaise que l’on devrait atteindre dans quelques heures. Même si les nouveaux foilers se sont échappés, nous sommes bien dans le match et on maintient notre position. Au relevé de 7.30 (BST), nous sommes 11e à 1 mille du 10e Monnoyeur avec le duo Benjamin Ferré et Pierre Le Roy. Dehors, il y a 18-20 noeuds et cela devrait encore mollir dans les prochaines heures.

This first night of racing was sporty and studious with Greg aboard Fortinet Best Western. Fortunately the wind and the sea calmed down in the middle of the night, allowing us to pass under D2. We continue our journey towards the tip of Cornwall, which we should reach in a few hours. Even if the new foilers have escaped, we are well in the game and we are maintaining our position. At the reading of 7.30 (BST), we are 11th at 1 mile behind 10th Monnoyeur with the duo Benjamin Ferré and Pierre Le Roy. Outside, there are 18-20 knots and it should ease again in the next few hours.
